One of the first questions I usually get when talking about Room3327 is “Why Room3327?” Well, it starts off with an article I read on Nikola Tesla. It turns out that Mr. Tesla, at the end of his life, was living in New York hotel rooms working, thinking, and coming up with ideas. Of course, he may have been penniless and talking to pigeons… to each his own. Eventually, he died in Room 3327 of the New Yorker Hotel.

This struck home with me. Many people talk about retiring and how to get to retirement, and I realized I just wanted a place where I could work on projects I enjoy until I get to leave this life. My work is kind of my hobby, so why ever quit? That day I registered the domain name room3327.com. When the opportunity arose, I started Room3327, Inc. where I’d like to think we are going to work on projects we enjoy until the end of our days.
